Plimoth Plantation is proud to partner with the Plymouth Farmers’ Market, which provides access to fresh local seasonal produce, grown by regional family farmers and sold directly to Plymouth area residents and visitors. The Farmers’ Market strengthens its member farmers, draws attention to the agricultural diversity and food-ways of our region, and educates the community about the benefits of buying local, simultaneously providing a social experience that builds community by celebrating localfoods. Farmers and Food-makers partner in Plymouth to sustain a vibrant local food economy.
The Museum hosts the Plymouth Farmers’ "Winter-into-Spring" Market once each month, from December through April. By shopping at these special events, you’ll help support local growers and artisans, and you’ll also enjoy a colorful, festive, and social experience. Please see our robust calendar of events for dates and times. The Farmers’ Market is always free and open to the public. Come and browse the tables of root crops, greens, fresh eggs, herbs, delectable breads and pies; take home foods made with locally sourced ingredients; shop for earth-based arts made by skilled artisans; and gather around the hearth-fire for conversation and music.
Plimoth Plantation also serves as one of several onsite hosts to the Plymouth Farmers’ Market events held during the Summer and Fall at Stephen’s Field. For more information about the Plymouth Farmers’ Market visit plymouthfarmersmarket.org.
