Looking for a great first camp experience for your little ones? Bring them to our 3-day Mini Camp! Kids 5 to 8 will have a great time getting to know the Pilgrims and the Wampanaog, visiting our animals, doing hands-on activities, and engaging in creative play. They'll hang out in a wetu (Wampanoag house), pretend to be Pilgrims, and make some great 17th-century-style crafts to take home.

A Kid's Life in Wampanoag Country: A Weeklong Wampanoag Adventure Camp Part 1
Session 1: July 8-12
Session 2: July 15-19

For kids ages 8-11
Plimoth Plantation invites your child to spend a week discovering the life and culture of the area’s first people—the Wampanoag. Led by Native American museum teachers, each day will feature visits to the museum’s sites, hands-on Native activities, and lots of fun and games! Kids will start off the week getting to
know each other and discovering the values, geography and artifacts of the indigenous Wampanoag people. Activities throughout the week will explore the
resources, community, food and skills of the Wampanoag and will include making cordage from milkweed, constructing traditional clay pots, playing traditional
games like Wampanoag football and cooking Wampanoag food.
The week culminates with a closing celebration for families from 4-6 PM on Friday, which includes a traditional Wampanoag meal. Awards and photos will be given out to remind children of their memorable week!
Participants bring their own lunches and snacks.

A Kid's Life in Wampanoag Country: A Weeklong Wampanoag Adventure Camp Part 2
Single Session: July 29 - August 2
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily
This week is just for kids who have participated in Part 1 of the Wampanoag Summer Adventure (either this summer or a previous year.) Led by Native American museum teachers, each day will feature visits to the museum’s sites, new hands-on Native activities, and even more fun and games! Activities throughout the week will explore the resources, community, food and skills of the Wampanoag. Part 2 kids will spend one night at Plimoth Plantation, just as the Wampanoag people did when Plimoth was called Patuxet!
Participants bring their own lunches and snacks.
For children aged 9-12 who have attended Plimoth Plantation's Colonial Summer Adventure: Part 1.

A Kid's Life in Plymouth Colony: A Weeklong Colonial Adventure Camp Part I

Hey kids...Ever wonder what it would have been like to live as an English child in 1600s Plymouth? Experience it at Plimoth Plantation! Kids 8 to 11 are invited to spend an historical and fun-filled week experiencing the life of a Pilgrim child. Each day children will tour the Museum’s sites, then change into Colonial clothes and travel back in time! In authentic houses on the Museum’s Colonial Education Site, they will research the life of a Pilgrim child, then learn to speak, work, cook and play as that child. The exciting week includes a field trip to the original site of Plymouth Colony in downtown Plymouth, where kids will walk in the footsteps of the Pilgrims. On Friday afternoon parents are invited to the Museum to see what their Pilgrims have learned, and to share a meal of authentic Colonial foods!
Experienced Museum staff from Plimoth Plantation's Education Department will lead the program.
Participants bring their own lunches and snacks daily and should wear sturdy shoes. Colonial costumes will be provided by the Museum for use during the program.

For kids ages 9-12 who have participated in A Kid's Life in Plymouth Colony: A Weeklong Colonial Adventure (Part I)
When your child can’t get enough of the 17th century... let them take it to the next level! This program is specially designed for children you have previously attended a session of Plimoth Plantation's Colonial Summer Adventures for Kids (either this year or in the past.) This weeklong experience will feature even more cool 17th-century hands-on activities, projects and roleplaying too! During the exciting week, children will participate in a military drill, cook a whole meal over the hearth and spend time with our rare and heritage breed animals. As a very special highlight of the program, children will have the amazingly unique opportunity to sleepover onboard Mayflower II or in a Pilgrim house! On Friday afternoon parents are invited to Plimoth Plantation to see what their "Colonists" have learned.
Participants bring their own lunches and snacks and should wear sturdy shoes.

Maritime Summer Adventure Camp
Single Session: August 12-16
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily
For kids ages 10-15
If your child loves the sea and all things nautical, have we got the adventure for them! Kids ages 10-15 have the wonderful and unique opportunity to work with Plimoth Plantation's Maritime Artisans--the talented and dedicated crew who maintains and preserves Mayflower II. During their week, kids will row and sail the shallop, climb rigging, and work in the Marine Shop on the project of their choice (with the artisans' guidance!) As a special highlight of the week, kids will spend the night onboard Mayflower II! Part of the week will be spent on the waterfront and on Mayflower II, and part will be spent in Plimoth Plantation's Marine Shop.
Participants bring their own lunches and snacks, and should wear sturdy shoes each day (no sandals or flip flops please).
Cost: $325 per child; $265 for members.
