We Are Acting History!

Plimoth Plantation’s  exciting new summer camp  offers young historians with a passion for the performing arts the chance to design their own museum theatre performance inspired by the real story of Plimoth Plantation and the Mayflower Pilgrims!

This two-week, intensive day camp introduces the basics of acting, truthful storytelling and character development techniques through hands-on activities, improv games, and sense memory exercises. Campers will invent a community of original characters anchored in the 17th century. Utilizing their new skills and experiences, campers will then generate and present an immersive performance piece telling a new story through first person interpretation in an historically accurate setting!
