The stars were aligned on the evening of July 21, 2012 for Plimoth Plantation’s summer gala, A Celestial Celebration: A Benefit for Mayflower II. The event was held in Pilgrim Memorial State Park, against the impressive backdrop of the historic ship. The event raised more than $100,000 for ongoing restoration work, including towing to and from drydock in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, where extensive work to Mayflower II’s hull will occur this winter.
