We have "Murphy's Law" in the UK too! If a thing can go wrong, it will go wrong!

Still, it made a great story for the blog :)

We had a similar coffee incident at work a few weeks ago. Some set the coffee machine brewing but forgot to put the jug under the filter. It is amazing how far one jug of coffee can spread and how many draws and cupboards it can seep into.

You poor thing! We have a phrase here in Australia for things going wrong when you really don't need them to - "Murphy's Law". Presumable Murphy was an unfortunate fellow.

And now from the perspective of a few days, it makes a GREAT story! The stitchers seem to have survived, you seem to have survived enough to type, and the jacket is getting more famous by the day. Good job, Jill!
