I've been poking around your website for some time, keeping up with the progress on THE jacket. Not being an embroiderer myself, I cannot but salivate from afar and feel awed at all of you all's patience and dedication to this project.

So since I can't ask any educated questions on the art of the needle, may I ask a question instead about your underpinnings?

You mentioned in this article that, "...we’ve found that the Dorothea Sabina ones fit best on certain body types. The front-lacing ones work better on other shapes, and of course for nursing mothers."

Could you elaborate on this point? I've made a pair of the "effigy" style and it just doesn't fit my body well at all. Since I'm just about to embark on the making of a pair in the "Dorothea" style with hopes that they'll fit better, I thought it timely for me to de-lurk and ask for your insights on this subject, since you have access to lots of different body types than I do.

Thanks so much in advance!

Jill, the pleasure was all NELG's. You set the presentation up beautifully, and it was so nice to see everyone so impressed and excited about the project. Thank you so much for taking all the time and effort to be with us and to share what the jacket is all about!
