Wooo Hooo! We have lace :)! And I have to admit to a tingle going down my spine from the picture of those first repeats with the spangles. It has probably been hundreds of years since lace was produced with that style of spangle. How cool is that :)!!

WOW!! How exciting! The spangles are fascinating. You can see the reflecting quality as they lay there, unmoving. It's going to look fantastic once they're dangline on the edges of the lace!

Keep up the GREAT work!

Indeed there are eighteen threads there, and six spangles. The spangles are gorgeous.

I can also hear some lacemakers saying to themselves: "**What** exactly **is** that she is using for a cover cloth?" Answer: anything she could find. ;-)

Wow, I'm glad that someone understands that confusion of threads. Do I count 18 threads there?

But, my oh my, do you make some pretty lace from them. It is so good to see this phase of the jacket becoming reality.

Well done.
