It may be off-season for a more 'normal' vacation but the locals were all friendly, and there is a good stitching store in town :). And can't beat the off-season rates! I had a wonderful time, meeting new people, making new friends. The stitching was great fun. The jacket is beautiful. If any of you out there are thinking about stitching at the plantation, do anything you have to to make it happen. Jill and Wendy and all the support staff were great. We met the cows and a baby goat, got a backstage look at some samplers and the wardrobe department, the food was superb and plentiful, and just had a great week.
