		<description>I've been told that antique laces have mistakes in them...they were sometimes fixed with over stitching with needle and thread, but often simply left.

SO, if we want to reproduce accurately, we must leave certain sorts of mistakes in!  But not the wrong sorts.....more research, as always, is required.</description>
