Colonial Collections

Colonial collections document everyday life in 17th-century England, the Netherlands and New England. Collections represent material culture from 1550-1700, the time period the English colonists would have known. They also include souvenirs and images that show how people have thought of the Pilgrims and Thanksgiving over time.

Colonial collections include:

  • Prints of everyday life
  • Furniture
  • Ceramics
  • Arms and Armor
  • Pilgrim images and souvenirs
  • Thanksgiving images
