Planning Your Event


Plimoth Plantation looks forward to making your event memorable.  A Sales Manager will meet with you to discuss the details of your event.  To confirm an event as definite, a deposit of 25% of the estimated food and beverage total and a signed contract is required. 

Wedding Receptions require a $1,500.00 initial deposit with the signed contract. A second deposit in the amount of 50% of the estimated balance is due 6 months prior to your event.

Facility usage fees:

Patuxet Room - $200.00, Accomack Room - $300.00,   Gainsboro Hall Wedding Reception - $750.00, Peabody Pavilion Wedding Reception - $1,200.00


A final attendance guarantee must be specified by 12 Noon, 5 business days prior to the event. This guarantee is not subject to reduction.  If a guarantee is not received five business days prior to the event, the estimated count will be used as the final guarantee.  Any attendance increases after the final guarantee deadline will be subject a 25% surcharge and the Chef’s approval, and we reserve the right to substitute menu items.  We prepare for 2% above the guarantee, and you will be charged whichever is greater, the guarantee or number of guests served. 


All food and beverage is subject to a 20% staffing charge as well as 6.25% MA state sales tax.  The staffing charge is not a gratuity, but covers labor expenses for staffing your event and may exceed our actual labor cost.  Additional line item labor charges may still apply.


All payments are due in the form of a check, cash or credit card.  The final balance must be paid in full by 12 noon, five days prior to the event based on the final guaranteed number of guests.  Should proper payment not be received within the designated time, Sodexo reserves the right to cancel the event
